It brought back old times for Bill Ricks, when somebody brought him a rattlesnake to photograph. The last time he remembers taking such a picture in Treutlen County was in 1998 before he was asked to look after the Wheeler County Eagle.
This is a reminder to be careful around the brush and bushes and dark corners, especially this time of the year.
The timber rattler was harvested by Mr. Miller (right) accompanied by Coach Mills. You recognize the location, and Ricks hasn't moved and is ready to photograph your snakes, big deer, fish, and strange critters of all denominations.
