Tribunal Rules; BOE Must Make the Final Decision

The three men who heard and saw the evidence and made their judgements.

Two experienced teachers fought to save their jobs after the Treutlen County Board of Education failed to renew their contracts. Each had a separate hearing on August 4, and were represented by two different attorneys. Three professional educators sat at both hearings and were given five working days to study and make their decisions.  Their rulings were concluded today, August 11.

The tribunals were held at the Treutlen Elementary School media center.  It is our understanding that the Board of Education will make the final decision as to whether or not to abide with the conclusions of the tribunals.
