Coach Cook Holliday, the winningest coach in Treutlen history is a Wilcox County High School grad and his school won the Class A Georgia State High School football championship over the past weekend.
Jimmy Glover’s son , Jamie, who was a star for THS, is now the Head Coach of the Track & Field Team and Strength & Conditioning coach at Sandy Creek High School. Although Jamie has been coaching only a few years after having a highly successful career as a four year offensive line starter at Georgia Southern University, his Track & Field teams have won two state championships (1 Class AAAA & 1 Class AAA). This past weekend, Sandy Creek won the Class AAAA High School football championship. No doubt Jamie’s influence made a significant contribution to this effort.
