Today is Good Friday. A day for planting and planning.
In some places it is a day of repainting crosses. Rev. Bernard Coffindaffer was responsible for building 1864 clusters of three crosses before his death in 1993. Others have adopted the repainting the crosses in the original colors to keep the project alive. For details: http://christiancrosses.org/
Three crosses represent the Lord's sacrifice plus the choice of sinful mankind (thieves) to reject or accept Him.
