DQ Regulars Welcome Jack back Home

.

.
The coffee club at the Soperton Dairy Queen was glad to have a special guest to join them this morning. Jack Barwick and wife LaGail moved away from Treutlen County several years to St. Mary's where they have a number of enterprises, including the popular Jack's Bait and Tackle. They've seen their new home grow from sleepy towns to the fastest growing county in the United States.
Jack shared his special recipe for fried rutabagas. Cut into half-inch slices, cook for a while, use the "fried green tomato" batter, and fry until done.
