WATCH YOUR STEP!




Shelia Phillips has seen many rattlesnakes on her place, and this is the second one she found within 500 feet of her house.
"He had 8 rattles  and was huge. I only had 2 bullets," Shelia said, "and missed on the first shot, but I made him a good snake on the second shot."

She tries to get home before dark because of the snakes in the yard, and warns visitors to come during the day. "As long as you visit in the daytime, you can see them. I always make sure the grass is cut to the ground."

One suggestion to help keep snakes off property is to pour a line of sulfur around the perimeter of the yard.
