City on a Hill

.

March 1979: Richard Ware's garage, white direction signs, double traffic lights installed in 1974, Farmers Furniture driveway but no sign, Waller's Gin and Warehouse, Harrell's IGA, Elvin Young's Standard Station, the old bank building, and a silver-topped courthouse.
.

May 2009: Mr. Coon's garage, green direction signs, double traffic lights still the best in town, Farmers sign, Piglet shopping center, closed Val-U-Max, Lucky Seven convenience store, old bank building with Methodist steeple in back, bronze-domed courthouse, lots of green foliage.
