Joe Yates - 1970 state and region champion in the 100 yard dash
Willie Mills - 1971 state and region champion in the pole vault
Ricky Nobles - 1971 state and region champion in the long jump
Kenny Tennyson - 1972 state and champion in the high hurdles; two time region champion; received track scholarship to Fort Valley State
James Nobles - 1972 placed 2nd in the state in the high hurdles; school record holder in the high jump; outstanding football player; received track scholarship to Berry College where he was an outstanding collegiate hurdler
Allen Johnson - 1973 state and region champion in the high jump; outstanding basketball and football player
John Miller - two time state champion in the 880 (1972, 1973); best time in 880 of 1:58; outstanding basketball player - on Final Four team; received track scholarship to Albany State
Ira Fordham - 1974 state champion in the triple jump; outstanding basketball player - on Final Four team
