Since Georgia will be controlled by Republicans in the state house and governor's office, redistricting of congressional redistricting will be in their hands. The choices they make will affect the congressional elections of 2012.
Here are three speculative articles which contain some useful facts:
Each district will need about 695,000 people. Treutlen's current 12th District, now held by John Barrow will need about 5,000 more people than it has right now.

Dr. Charles Bullock, a political science professor at the University of Georgia, explains how the census has changed Georgia’s congressional districts.
“What I expect you’ll see is that the Republican leadership will concede the 2nd to Sanford Bishop and draw the 8th to make it safer for newly minted congressman Austin Scott,” he added.
"When it comes to Barrow's eastern 12th district, there are basically two ways for Republicans to make him more vulnerable. One is to move more of heavily Democratic Savannah into Kingston's district in the southeast; the other is to take more of heavily Democratic Augusta and move it into Broun's 10th district in the northeast. But it won't be easy," the Post blog reported.
