Halloween in Treutlen is getting to be a really big thing! Besides regular trick or treating, there are hay rides, church gatherings, neighborhood get-togethers, and more. Several years ago, First Baptist Church started an All Saints celebration on their facing the Methodist Church - a community wide occasion that is still going strong even in the rain. They swimmingly moved everything into the fellowship hall and everybody had a great time. Lothair United Methodist Church had a celebration, as did several other churches. The rain hit hard just as everybody was getting ready.
