The Lothair Horseshoe Club hosted a benefit for Babe Sellers Saturday at Keith Clements' on Windmill Way. A large crowd participated, and all had fun raising funds for a worthy cause. The club raised over $18,000 for charity last year. Everybody enjoyed the barbecue plates and snacks, pitching horseshoes, and each other's company. Be sure to attend their next benefit. Take highway 46 out to Cowboy Carey's, keep going until you see Osceola Road on the right. Old timers might know it as the Oliver Smith road. Continue on the pavement until it turns left as Windmill Way.
