On the Road with Crow Mart

Some Senior Citizens look for
the Wednesday discounts
even when it's Saturday!
Looking for Saturday night entertainment?  Try the auction barn at East Dublin.

The CrowMart Crew checked it out for you last weekend and gave it their full recommendation.

There's lots of food at the auction barn, but the Crew had plenty of time to ride around and investigate some of the other pleasures of Laurens County.

"Where are the honey buns?"
KFC has great chicken.  Even a grilled
chicken sandwich. But it's almost
$2 cheaper at Chickfila.

.
Nothing like Dairy Queen when
the grocery store lets you down.

To bid, all you've got to do is raise your hand or your number sign.

The TREUTLEN E-NEWS is experimenting with GoogleEarth images to show locations. Let's see if it helps you find the auction barn.

CLICK THE MAP AND IT SHOULD GET BIGGER
The entrance to the auction barn is on South Drive, a short street that connects US 80 and Railroad Avenue.

If you get lost, just ask somebody at Conners Restaurant (map pin on the right).

Cellulosic Methanol Produced From First Commercial Cellulosic Biofuels Plant

Carter whipped his you-know-what, and the Kennedys never got over it. They'd rather had a two-term Republican than a Georgia peanut farmer. Snottiness can be found in both parties. Tune in Sunday night.

WARE'S BAR-B-Q AND MORE IN DOWNTOWN SOPERTON

Ware's Barbecue, Soperton's latest place to dine in or take out, will be open at the usual hour of 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 15.

The well-known provider "since 1958" had been operating their mobile unit many months at the old Harrell's parking lot with great success.  After the Willow Restaurant closed on Railroad Avenue near the gazebo, Ware's moved in and extended services and hours.

The company, originating from Swainsboro, is owned by Joe Ware, Johnny Ware, and Blaine Burrell.  Joe's wife Cyndi and son Jarett are operating the Soperton restaurant with good, friendly associates.

You'll find what you are looking for on the menu below, but you also should know that there are daily lunch specials and Ware's Barbecue is known for its catering, large and small.

Animal Rescue Active in Treutlen County

"Saving one dog may not change the world but it will surely change the world for that one dog."

Million Pines Animal Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and unwanted animals. We strive to save and improve the lives of animals that have been forgotten, rejected, abandoned, or abused by society.

By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, and local veterinarians, we are able to provide the animals with loving temporary care, and find them well-matched, carefully screened forever homes.

Million Pines Animal Rescue takes the place of a city/county shelter being there is no such facility in the area. Prior to the rescue group, 100% of the animals picked up by animal control were euthanized after 3 short days of custody.

Our goal is to build an animal-friendly community by encouraging respect and compassion for all animals. We are here to advocate responsible pet ownership and inform the community about the importance of spaying and neutering. We have the animals best interest at heart so we will work endlessly to eliminate the need to ever kill homeless pets again.

If interested in contacting Million Pines Animal Rescue, then please feel free to leave a comment on our Facebook page or email us at millionpinesanimalrescue@ymail.com.
Thanks for your support!
